About Your Counselor
Tavon Kermeen
MBA, MA, LCMHC, NCC
I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor committed to walking alongside adults as they navigate seasons of loss, transition, and healing. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I don’t take that lightly. I strive to offer a space that feels steady, respectful, and collaborative, a place where you don’t have to perform, prove, or have it all figured out.
I see therapy as a journey, not a quick fix. It unfolds over time and often looks different from one day to the next. Your best is enough, even when it shifts. Growth isn’t linear, and meaningful change begins when we slow down and understand the “why” behind our thoughts, behaviors, and patterns. From there, we can move forward with greater clarity and intention.
My clinical experience spans inpatient, outpatient, crisis, and residential settings, supporting individuals across the lifespan. While my background includes work with children and adolescents, I currently provide telehealth therapy exclusively to adults.
As a military spouse, I have personal insight into the unique stressors faced by service members, veterans, and military families, including frequent transitions, separations, identity shifts, and cumulative stress. I understand how important consistent, accessible support can be during seasons of change.
At the heart of my work is collaboration. My hope is to create a space where you feel understood, where insight grows, and where you can develop practical tools that support lasting emotional well-being.

Fees and Insurance
Fees and insurance coverage are reviewed prior to the first session so you have a clear understanding of any out-of-pocket costs. I accept select insurance plans, and self-pay options are available. All payments are processed securely through the client portal.
Telehealth Individual Sessions
Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and better understand the patterns that may be contributing to distress. The process is individualized and paced to support your goals and lived experience.

My Approach
What to Expect in Therapy
My approach is individualized and responsive to your needs and goals. We begin by identifying what is bringing you to therapy and what you would like to feel different in your day-to-day life. From there, we work to understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing practical tools that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and more intentional decision-making.
I draw from evidence-based practices and adapt them based on your pace, feedback, and lived experience. Therapy may include structured skill-building, reflective processing, and values-based work, depending on what is most helpful to you at each stage.
Our work is highly individualized, ensuring treatment resonates with your specific values and healing process.
